She was predeceased by: her husband Elwood Rabun; her sons, Michael Cato, Robert and Bobby; her stepdaughter Sandra Bugg; and her siblings, Diane Cato, Alex Stephens and Johnny Stephens.
She is survived by: her children, Janet Bennier (Barry) of Union Point, Susan Izbicki, Terry Cato, Lora Cato of Hodges, SC, Shannon Cato, Teresia Whisnant, Hammond Rabun (Lynn) and Elwood Rabun, Jr. (Sherry); her grandchildren, Andy Lyttle, Tamara Rabun (Patti), Chris Rabun (Jennifer), Rusty Lyttle, Cory Bennier, Rai Izbicki, Kenny Cato and Michael Cato; and her great grandchildren, Lexi Lyttle, Noah Lyttle, Ethan Rabun and Alyssa Rabun.
