It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Nellie Moment of Augusta, Georgia, who passed away on September 19, 2021, leaving to mourn family and friends. She is survived by: her children, Sheryl Thomas (Martin), Charles Lowery (Christine), Maurice Sturgis Sr. and Christopher Sturgis; her siblings, Cynthia Bell and George Bell Jr. (Deborah); and her grandchildren, Martin Thomas, Terence Thomas, Melanda Walker (Dominique), Angela Lowery, Pamela Lowery Monique Holland (Timothy), Raven Sturgis, Kaitlyn Dusbalon, Brandon Redd, McKayla Redd, Maurice Sturgis Jr. and Erica Lewis. She is also survived by nieces, nephews and other relatives.
