He was predeceased by: his wife Kay Elliott Pruitt; and his parents, Rex Pruitt and Jeanne Johnson Pruitt. He is survived by: his brother-in-law Robert Scott Elliott (Debbie); his niece Blair Elliott Trefz (Jason); his nephew Robert Clayton Elliott; his great-nephew Finn Trefz; his close friend Lisa Pickrell; and his pets, Grommitt and Tartufo.
