He was predeceased by: his wife Martha Broxton; and his parents, Joseph Broxton and Mildred Broxton. He is survived by: his daughter Debbie Cochran; and his grandchildren, Melissa Zahner (Robby), Brad Sanders (Dawn), Brent Sanders (Skylar) and Brian Sanders (Anna).

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Parkway Baptist Church, 2543 William Few Pkwy #7417, Evans, GA 30809.
