He is survived by: his children, Hope Tinsley (Curtis) of Pegram, TN, Kristan Hobgood of Ashland City, TN, Heather Hobgood of Nashville, TN and Cord Hobgood (Nicole) of Georgetown, KY; his stepdaughter Angela Maternowski (John) of Kingston Springs, TN; his sisters, Sheila H. Wheeler of Marietta, GA and Becky H. Souris of Mebane, NC; and his brothers-in-law, Trent Pittman and Sonny Pittman of Augusta, GA. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
