Richard Battle Edwards Obituary

We are sad to announce that on March 8, 2022, at the age of 89, Richard Battle Edwards (Augusta, Georgia) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, W. Grady Edwards and Kathryn Battle Edwards. He is survived by: his wife Linda Edwards; his daughters, Diane Edwards Strong (Nat) of Gainesville, Georgia and Cynthia Edwards Kirtland (Jimmy) of Atlanta; and his stepson Andy Culver (Jackie) of Jacksonville. He is also survived by six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the GA. Special Olympics, St. Jude Children's Research Hospital and/or The American Heart Association.
