He was predeceased by: his parent Benjamin Reed. He is survived by: his spouse Alice Reed; his parent Esther Wesson Reed; and his children, Margaret "Peggy" Reed of Ohio, Thomas "Tom" Reed (Bernice) of Colorado and Michael Reed of Martinez. He is also survived by six grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
