He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Connie; his children, Amy Russell (David), Cullen Rodgers-Gates (Mandy), Libby Daugherty (Patrick), Emily VanAtta (Andy) and Carrie Banta (Drew); his grandchildren, Abigail Russell, Hannah, Ethan, Caleb Rodgers-Gates, Madelyn, Oliver Daugherty, Jacob, Hudson VanAtta, Mckenzie, Josh and Sebastian Banta; and his sister Scheryl Upton.
