She was predeceased by: her husband James Compton; her parents, George Sleister and Mary Sleister; her former husband Clarence Muns, Sr.; her son James R. Compton, Jr.; and her sister Betty Maddox.
She is survived by: her son Clarence Muns (Janet) of Augusta; her grandchildren, Kim M. Crowe of Evans and Kevin R. Muns (Nicole) of Martinez; her great grandchildren, Rachel Crowe, Mallory Crowe, Sadie Muns and Addie Muns; and her brother George Sleister (Diane) of Evans.
