She is survived by: her children, Benita Manning Long (John Bush Long), James Hampton Manning III (Carole Hart Manning) and Sallie Taylor Manning (Richard William Herring); her grandchildren, John Ryd Bush Long (Paige Tucker Long), James Hampton Manning IV (Caroline Ward Manning), Sallie Martin Long (Jackson Robert Cooper), Joseph Martin Manning, Logan Herring Brown (William Edward Brown) and Brian Rawlins Herring (Leslee Mercado Herring); and her great grandchildren, Julia Reynolds Long, Mary Hunter Manning, William Edward Brown, Jr. and Nathan Mercado Herring. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and lifelong friends.
