We are sad to announce that on September 12, 2018 we had to say goodbye to Sanford Barshafsky (Augusta, Georgia). You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his sister Diane Schneider. He is survived by: his wife Renate; his daughters, Beverly Peltier and Deb Barshafsky; his sister Patty Apel; and his son Chaplain Steve. He is also survived by his nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the National Infantry Museum, 1775 Legacy Way, Columbus, Georgia 31903.
