She is survived by: her husband John Butler; her children, Russell Floyd of Savannah, GA and Jenny Floyd Owen (Trevor) of Atlanta, GA; her grandchildren, Evan Floyd, Collin Floyd, Carson Floyd of Savannah, GA, Alexa Owen and Jake Owen of Atlanta, GA; and her siblings, Cary S. Maxwell, Dale V. Scott and Lynn S. Scott of Augusta, GA..

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Alzheimer's Foundation in memory of Shannon Floyd Butler.
