He is survived by: his wife Wanda Beasley Avret; his daughters, Christa Avret, Shonda Willingham (Eddie) and Kim Borger (Tori); his grandchildren, Reesun Phillips, Bri Sherman, David Sherman (Karina), Kerianna Borger, Majia Mathis, Izayak Mathis, Rocquel Mathis and Kamara Mathis; and his great grandchildren, Cali Sherman, Lilly, Leanna Sherman and Ocean Mathis (Andy Balderson).
