With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Thomas Gaines Sr. (Augusta, Georgia), who passed away on August 14, 2021. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He is survived by: his children, Sharon Davis (Anthony), Sabrina Greene (David), Shunte Odom (Edgar), Mattie LaShonda Gaines, Tyrone Gaines, Derrick Gaines, Dheryl Gaines (Kimberly) and Thomas Gaines (Precious); and his sisters, Jannie Mae Givens and Annie Ruth Seabrooks. He is also survived by grandchildren and great grandchildren.

There will be a viewing on Friday from 1-5 p. m. Please wear a mask and practice social distancing.
