He was predeceased by: his parents, Clinton Taber and Rosemary Taber (Murphy); and his siblings, Clint, Pete, Richard, Robert, Linda and Pat.
He is survived by: his wife Carol Konecek Taber; his daughters, Theresa Ehntholt (Johann) of Augusta, Catherine Taber and Georgia; his siblings, Steve, Michael, David, Kathleen Humiston (Richard), Mary Scovic (Pete) and Susan Starr; and his granddaughters, Lucy of Augusta and Olivia Ehntholt of Augusta.
