He is survived by: his spouse Margaret Baxley Chew; his children, Elizabeth Chew (Comer Gaither), Dorothy Chew Clark (Pen) and Baxley Chew (Ginger); his grandchildren, Alexander Comer Gaither, Margaret Baxley Clark, Catherine Todd Clark, William Henry Chew, Virginia Sullivan Chew and Stella Baxley Chew; and his brother Frank Stephens Chew (Mary Anne) of Atlanta.
