He was predeceased by: his parents, Hugh Goodson and Clara Goodson. He is survived by: his girlfriend Sybil Bell; and his siblings, Jean Hollis (Bill) of Dallas, GA and Tim Goodson (Susan) of Powder Springs, GA. He is also survived by four step-children, eight grandchildren, one great-grandson, many nieces and nephews.
