She was predeceased by: her parents, Jesse Akins and Lillie Akins; and her brothers, William, Gene, Thomas and Waymon.
She is survived by: her husband James Dick; her children, Angela Mooney (Richard), Pamela Mathen (Rodney), Melinda Koonce, Tami DeJames (Steve), James Eric D'Richards (Terri) and Julie Sims (Erik); and her siblings, Charles Akins, Shirley Smith, Rayford Akins, Linda Van Orden and Robbie Clemons.
