He was predeceased by: his wife Dot Hicks; and his siblings, James Hicks and Montel Ray. He is survived by: his children, Pamela Henry, Selena Hutcheson (Greg), Melanie Corbett (Don) and Steve Hicks (Stephanie); his grandchildren, Brian Vaught (Melissa), Valerie Bliven, Whitney Hinds (Dustin), Ansley Hutcheson, Asa Hicks and Adrienne Hicks; and his sisters, Frances Hulsey, Virginia Parker, Ruby Shackleford and Linda Faye Ginn (David). He is also survived by 11 great grandchildren.
