He was predeceased by: his parents, George Asnip and Dorothy Asnip; and his wife Elizabeth Asnip. He is survived by: his children, George Asnip III (Sylvia) of Browns Summit, NC, Andrew Asnip (Elizabeth) of Mt. Juliet, TN, Matthew Asnip (Sally) of Atlanta and Elizabeth Ream (Robert) of Tyrone; his grandchildren, Britney, Elizabeth, Daniel, Banks and Isabel; his great grandchild Liam; and his friend Betty Simons.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Holy Cross Faith Memorial Episcopal Church, 88 Baskerville Drive, Pawleys Island, SC 29585.
