It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Harlow Otwell (Austell, Georgia), born in Dallas, Georgia, who passed away on September 10, 2019, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Virgil Raymond Rakestraw and Kate Kincaid Rakestraw; her husband William E. Otwell; and her siblings, Wilbur Rakestraw, Bernarr Rakestraw, Donald Rakestaw and Mary Rakestraw Shipp.
She is survived by: her children, Jeffrey Brown (Karla) of Dallas, GA, Scott Brown (Jill) of Hiram, GA and Jane Ingram (Bobby) of Kennesaw, GA; her stepchildren, Billy Otwell (Becky) of Washington, D. C. and Charlotte Payton (David) of Woodstock, GA; her sisters, Betty Rakestraw Aiken of Dallas, GA, Linda Faye Rakestraw Strickland (Russell) of Dallas, GA, Doris Rakestraw and Stephanie Rakestraw; her grandchildren, Jenny Ingram, Molly Brown, Anna Ingram, Lucas Brown, Julia Brown, Alex Otwell (Erin) and Sydney LeFevre (Brad); and her great grandchildren, Scout LeFevre and Ines Otwell. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully asks that donations be made to First United Methodist Church of Dallas in Mrs. Otwell's memory.
