Joyce Shelton Obituary

We are sad to announce that on May 15, 2021, at the age of 84, Joyce Shelton of Austell, Georgia, born in Atlanta, Georgia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband James Harold Shelton; her son James Shelton; and her parents, Mac Purcell and Lena Hames Purcell. She is survived by: her sons, Grady Shelton of Austell and Wayne Shelton (Becky) of Villa Rica; her daughter-in-law Cathy Shelton of Euharlee; and her brother Roy May of Loganville. She is also survived by many grandchildren, many great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

The family would like to extend their love and appreciation to everyone who may be unable to attend the service in person due to Covid-19 concerns. If attending the visitation or service, the staff of Clark Funeral Home highly recommends that face masks be worn and that social distancing be practiced to help prevent the spreading of any possible illnesses and to help keep visitors, friends and family members of Mrs. Shelton safe.
