He was predeceased by: his parents, Fletcher David Vaughn and Lillie Bell Barrett Vaughn. He is survived by: his wife Patricia Clark Vaughn; his daughter Lindsey A. Vaughn Smith; his son-in-law W. Eric Smith; his son Bradford C. Vaughn; his daughter-in-law Christina A. Vaughn; his sister Martha "Nancy" Vaughn Cate; and his siblings-in-law, Steven L. Clark, Angela Clark, Nell Fowler Vaughn and Cynthia Clark Hawkins. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
