He was predeceased by : his parents, Cleveland Derrick and Edith Riley Derrick; and his siblings, Linda Duffie and Randy Derrick. He is survived by : his wife Starene Dahlstrom Derrick of Milledgeville; his children, Daniel Derrick, Michael Derrick, Tammy Fatcher, Dana Brown (Charles) of Milledgeville, Gena Goff (Tony) of Eatonton and Greg Stewart (Bonnie) of Milledgeville; and his brothers, Raymond Derrick (Jeanette) and Lester Derrick (Polly) of Saluda, S. C.. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
