He is survived by: his wife Christine Carney; his children, Sherri Hubbard, Randy Carney (Darlene), Ricky Carney (Nacey), Connie Franklin and Raymond Carney; his siblings, Bobby Carney, Gilda Sosebee, Brenda Elrod and Ronnie Carney; his grandchildren, Kristie Strickland, Jennifer Carney, Brandon Carney and Cody Turner; and his great grandchildren, Taylor Strickland, Anslee Strickland and Kailey Strickland. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
