She was predeceased by: her parents, George Hornberger and Eleanor Hornberger; and her sister Mary Lou Sonefeld. She is survived by: her husband Bruce; her brother Phillip Hornberger; and her children, Mieka Hughes (Joe), Dennis Cooper (Mary) and Christopher Chason. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
