He was predeceased by: his parents, Floy Elizabeth and Frank Charles Milford; his brother Larry Milford; his nephew Kenneth "Scotty" Green; and his great-nephew Daniel Green.

He is survived by: his sisters, Helen J. Green and Bobbie A. Young of Ball Ground, GA; and his sister-in-law Ann Milford of Hiawassee, GA. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and great and great great nieces and nephews.
