He was predeceased by: his parents, Vera Sanders Cochran and John Hicks Cochran; and his parents-in-law, Howard Pruitt (Doc) and Ovelene Hembree Pruitt. He is survived by: his wife Hazel Pruitt Cochran; his son Joseph Ronald Cochran (Joey); his daughter-in-law Mary Tim Cochran; his grandson Joshua Taylor Cochran; his brother Lamar Hicks Cochran; his sister-in-law Emily Charlene Paris Cochran; and his close friends, Dwight Cash and Francisco. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews.
