She was predeceased by : her parents, William Brantley and Adell Curtis Brantley; and her husband Deacon Willie James Gilmore. She is survived by : her children, Vanessa Young III (Henry) of Jacksonville, FL., Kimberly Ann Gilmore of Charlotte, NC., Annie Cora Hill of Louisville, Antione Gilmore (Valerie) of Augusta and Damon Gilmore (Eva) of Milledgeville; her grandchildren, Anteonia, Antione, Ca'Nyia, Cornelius, Adrianna, Kennidi, Demonte, Amarian, Donqual, Henry IV, Roger, Regina, Gary, Earnest, Deric and Tishira; her great grandchild Raheem Burns; her siblings, Mary Martin of Millville, NJ., Ruby Hills and Jackie Hills of Swainsboro; her sister-in-law Gladys Howard; and her godsons, Calvin Oliphant of Louisville, George Dawson of Louisville and Pastor Robert Stokes (Angel Hill). She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Because of the family's respect and concern for public health and safety during this COVID-19 pandemic, the family requests that social distancing and other safety precautions be followed. The wearing of face masks is strongly encouraged during any gathering.
