She is survived by: her husband Wendell Carter of Baxley; her children, Kay (Roy Williamson), Rita Carter (Dell Ray), Joel (Samantha Carter) of Baxley and Earl Carter of Baxley; her sister Rosene; her brother-in-law L. C. Carter of Baxley; her brothers, George Williams of Hortense and David (Mildred Williams); and her friend Patsy Baxley of Baxley. She is also survived by seven grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
