She was predeceased by: her brother Roger Atkinson; her son Marion Pete Nettles; and her grandson John Hudson Carter. She is survived by: her husband William Wilbur Barnes of Baxley; her children, Pam Barnes Carter (Keven) of Baxley, Donna Barnes Wheeler (Jon) of Baxley, Angie Barnes Alexander of Baxley, William Ricky Barnes (Nickie) of Baxley and Wilbur Robby Barnes (Kristi) of Baxley; and her siblings, Barbara Ann Stankowitz of Dalton, Larry Atkinson of Hazlehurst, Jerry Atkinson of Hazlehurst and Terry Atkinson of Hazlehurst.
