With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Wynell Herrington (Baxley, Georgia), born in Appling, Georgia, who passed away on February 17, 2022 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by : her parents, Lewis Jackson and Nancy Jackson; her husband Theron Herrington; and her siblings, Betty Lightsey, Andy, L. W., Bruce, Don and Robert Jackson.
She is survived by : her daughter Gail; her son-in-law Richard Thompson of Baxley; her son Keith; her daughter-in-law Joan Herrington of Hazlehurst; her grandchildren, Lindsey Flowers (Ryan), Kyle Thompson, Madelyn Herrington and Joshua Herrington; her sister Jenny Drawdy (Delton) of Waycross; her caregivers, Diana Stone, Melsina Robinson and Elvira Moses; and her close friend Sassy.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Zoar Baptist Church (10170 Zoar Road Baxley, Georgia 31513).
