With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Alfred Davis Jr. (Blackshear, Georgia), born in Danielsville, Georgia, who passed away on September 22, 2019 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfred L. Davis, Sr. and Mary Louise Swicord Davis; and his wife Ellen Martin Davis. He is survived by: his children, Beverly Davis Peters of St. Petersburg, Alfred Lee Davis III of Blackshear and Bonnie Davis Howard of Blackshear; his grandchildren, Caitlin Howard of Rome, James Carson Howard of Carrolton and Courtney Howard of Gainesville; and his sister Miriam Louise Davis Leaptrott of Athens.
