She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Lester and Hattie Mae Dowling (Dowling); her husband Latchlon Gwinnette Aldridge, Sr.; and her siblings, Nolie Crews, Fronnie Moody, Azalea Roberts, Mattie Banks, Elbert Dowling, Lester Dowling, Lacy Dowling and Ivey Dowling.
She is survived by: her children, Myra (Rodell King), Sherry (Walter Watson), Rev. Latchlon Gwinnette "L. G." (Janice Aldrige, Jr.), Joe (Diane Aldridge), Lacy (Dianna Aldridge), Rev. Mike (Sheila Aldridge), Rev. Randall (Sherrilynn Aldridge), Victor (Mary Alice Aldridge) and Dennis (Carolyn Aldridge). She is also survived by 48 grandchildren, 66 great grandchildren, 11 great, great grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
