He is survived by: his wife Jackie Ponsell of Blackshear; his son David E. "Dave" Ponsell, III (Michelle) of Kathleen; his grandchildren, Mario Ponsell (Cristina) of Brooklyn, Ryan Ponsell of Arvada, Brianne Ponsell of Raeford, Ashley Ponsell of Waycross and Dana Ponsell of Sanford; his sister Deborah Patterson of Arco; and his siblings-in-law, Juanda Ponsell of Griffin and Jerry Lowe (Joanne). He is also survived by several great grandchildren.
