It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jeanette Wetherington of Blackshear, Georgia, who passed away on November 9, 2020, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, J. C. Godwin and Iris Lewis Godwin; and her brother Ronnie Godwin. She is survived by: her children, Sherri Robson (Richard) of Blackshear and Butch Wetherington of Prescott Valley, AZ; her brother Mike Godwin (Kay) of Blackshear; and her grandchildren, Joshua Wetherington (Malayna), Michael Robson (Lacy), Jonathan Robson, Trey Wetherington, Devon Wetherington and Jonna Jellison. She is also survived by three great grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
Due to COVID-19, the family requests that face masks be worn while attending the services.
In lieu of flowers the family request memorial donations be made to the Bridge Community Church, 419 Main Street, Blackshear, GA 31516.
