We are sad to announce that on November 14, 2020, at the age of 86, Josephine Floyd of Blackshear, Georgia, born in Patterson, Georgia passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Josephine Floyd to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Daniel Robert and Ethel Elma Little Gill; her husband Riley Eugene Floyd, Sr.; her son Lewis Jackson Harris, Jr.; her son-in-law Richard Ralston; her grandson Seth Michael Floyd; her great grandchild Shelby Michelle Stevens; and her siblings, Sarah Dyal, Nolan Gill, Elbert Gill, Gerald Gill, Dan Gill, Linwood Gill and John D. Gill.
She is survived by: her children, Belinda Jo Adams (Steve) of Blackshear, Lynnette Shields (Berkley) of Aiken, SC, Eugene Floyd (Terri) of Martinsville, VA, Donnie Floyd (Cindy) of Blackshear, David Floyd (Michelle) of Blackshear, Michael Floyd (Ede) of Fernandina Beach and Timothy Floyd (Kimberly) of Middleburg, FL; and her siblings, Eleanor Melton of Blackshear, Robert Gill (Brenda) of Blackshear, James Theron Gill (Linda) of Blackshear, Franklin D. "Buck" Gill (Wanda) of Blackshear and Ray Gill (Glenda) of Blackshear. She is also survived by 20 grandchildren; 29 great grandchildren,; several nieces, nephews and other relatives.
Due to COVID-19, and social distancing and the use of face masks is recommended.
