It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Nellie Smith of Blackshear, Georgia, who passed away on August 20, 2020, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, James Barney and Hester Maryann Mulkey King; and her siblings, Madge Bennett, Addie Faye King, Shirley King and Jerry King.
She is survived by: her sons, Gene "Bubba" (Marie Smith) and Jerry Smith of Waycross; her brother-in-law Willie Bennett of St. Marys; her grandchildren, Alisha Hyers (Evan), Heather Raulerson (Michael) and Taylor Smith; her great grandchildren, Greyson Raulerson, Tucker Raulerson and Parker Hyers; and her sibling's children, Sherry Zimerle (Steve) of St. Marys, Petresa Bennett of Blackshear and Dusty Bennett of St. Marys. She is also survived by several other relatives and numerous friends.
