He is survived by : his sister Louise Worthington; his children, Nancy (Johnny Wallace), Tony Payne (Janice Boland), Melvin (Alice Payne), Cindy (Steve Youngblood) and Chris (Judy Payne); and his grandchildren, Sean Payne, Beth Bower, Joshua Wallace, Natasha Wallace, Nathanel Payne, Nicholas Payne, Noah Payne, Patrick Youngblood, Alec Youngblood, Thomas Payne and Andrew Payne.
