With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Harold Brian Hood of Blairsville, Georgia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 3, 2025 at the age of 51. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Harold may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Hood and Myrtle Fortenberry Hood; and his grandparents, Edmund, Dora Fortenberry and Baron Hood.
He is survived by: his wife Rita Cross of Blairsville; and his granddaughters, Breana Cross of Franklin, NC. and Britney Cross of Franklin, NC..
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 5th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Mountain View Funeral Home (78a Butternut Crossing, Blairsville, GA 30512). A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 6th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Mountain View Chapel (78a Butternut Crossing, Blairsville, GA 30512).
