As Jerry Matson departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Jerry Matson may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Jerry Matson leaves behind.
He was predeceased by: his parents, David Jerry Wood and Easter Edge Wood. He is survived by: his wife Sandra; his children, Wendy (Hutch), Cristy and Matson; and his grandchildren, Shelby (Taylor) and Emma. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project in his honor.
