It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jesse Lee Eady Jr. of Blairsville, Georgia, who passed away on June 11, 2025, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Jesse Lee Eady Sr. and Mary McCoy Patterson; and his siblings, James, Ricky Patterson and Brenda Eady.
He is survived by: his wife Sandra Creech Eady of Blairsville; his children, Kimberly Eady (Jake) of Folkston, GA., Jason Eady of Blairsville, Shawn Eady of Blairsville, Sean Oliver of Blairsville and Rodney Pylant (Michelle) of Defuniak Springs, FL.; his siblings, Cynthia Eady of Waycross, GA., Patricia Eady of Waycross, GA., William Eady of Live Oak, FL., Michael Eady (Barbara) of Jacksonville, FL. and Bessie Godwin (Rick) of Folkston, GA.; and his grandchildren, Ashtyn (Brian), Brayleigh (Jason), Hunter, Jessy, Natylee, Ryder, River, Christian, Jessica (Nathaniel), Taylor (Melissa), Cody (Ashley), Adara (Hunter), Savannah, Chandler and Jaxxon.
A funeral service will be held on Sunday, June 15th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM and at 2:00 PM at the Mountain View Funeral Home Chapel (78a Butternut Crossing, Blairsville, GA 30512). A graveside service will be held on Monday, June 30th 2025 at 2:30 PM at the Georgia National Cemetery.
Flowers are accepted or if you wish, the family requests that donations may be made to the Blairsville Hope House in Mr. Eady's memory.
