He was predeceased by: his parents, Olen Foster and Ethel Foster (Tilson); and his siblings, Leonard Foster (Amelee), Frank Foster (Grace) and Gladys Thomas (Guy).
He is survived by: his wife Frances Jean Foster (Hedgecock); his children, John Clifford Foster, Jr. and Matilda "Tilly" Foster; his grandson John-Mark Foster; his sister Patsy Hedgecock; his brother-in-law Harace Hedgecock; and his nephew Billy Hedgecock. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
