We are sad to announce that on October 15, 2020, at the age of 85, John Maryland Nix (Blairsville, Georgia) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He is survived by : his wife Susan Nix of Spencer; his sons, Jeff Nix of Blairsville and Andy Cheek; his sister Charlotte Collins of Blairsville; and his grandchildren, Sydney Michelle Cheek of Spencer and Michael Bryan Cheek of Spencer.

In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to the American Cancer Society in John's memory.
