With solemn reverence, we commemorate Lila Miles Blocker of Blairsville, Georgia, whose life came to an end on June 10, 2025 at the age of 87, leaving behind cherished memories. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Edgar Miles and Evelyn Miles of Pembroke. She is survived by: her spouse Durward Lamont Blocker of Cobbtown; her sons, Keith Blocker (Elizabeth) of Marathon, FL and Greg Blocker (Katie) of Hayesville, NC; her grandchildren, Ashley Holland (Stephen), Tyler Blocker-Maggioni (Craig), Grayson Blocker and Olivia Blocker; her great grandchildren, Wyatt Holland and Lila Holland; and her brothers, Billy, Thomas and Jimmie.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 13th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Flanders Powell Funeral Home (197 S College St, Pembroke, GA 31321). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 at the Northside Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers remembrances may be made to Regency Hospice, 350 South Main Street, Hiawassee, GA 30546 or Stonehenge Senior Living, 168 Stonehenge Drive, Blairsville, GA 30512 in memory of Lila Blocker.
