It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Nancy Brennan Haizlip of Blairsville, Georgia, who passed away on October 17, 2025, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold Charles Brennan and Agnes E. Hamill; her husband James Homer Haizlip; her great grandchild Brennan Patrick Smith Jr.; and her siblings, Harold Buddy Brennan Jr., Donna Valentine, Patricia Valentine Wyatt, Beverly Harris, Rita Ellis, Jane Higgins and Monica "Jitzy" Teutosch.
She is survived by: her daughter Debbie; her son-in-law Richard Smith of Blairsville; her sons, Danny (Pam Haizlip) and Jim (Sharon Haizlip); her grandchildren, Todd (Judith Smith), Jimmy (Madge Smith), Packy (Kelsey Smith), Connor (Leanna Smith), Casey (Christina Smith), Mary (Sebastian Blinn) and Zac (Shanna Haizlip); her great grandchildren, Jessica Ashcroft (Kelly), Todd Smith II, Brian Smith (Emily), Liam Smith, Sari, Judah, Maria, Dominic, Darien, William, Kateri, Daniel, Theodore Smith, Niko Derrick, Rocky, Ray, Xavier Blinn, Sean, Valerie Haizlip and Kipton Stepp; and her great great grandchildren, Paul Henry, Peter and Annemarie Ashcroft.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 20th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Mountain View Funeral Home (78a Butternut Crossing, Blairsville, GA 30512). A rosary will be held on Monday, October 20th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 21st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church (3717 GA-515, Blairsville, GA 30512).
Flowers are accepted or if you wish, the family requests that donations may be made to St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in Mrs. Haizlip's memory.
