He was loved and cherished by many people including: his granddaughter Lindsay Rogers; his parents, Norman Lee Thompson and Zuleika Broom Thompson; his wife Carole; his children, Paul Thompson of Knoxville, TN, Mark Thompson (Rebecca) of Isles, Wendy Thompson Evans (Nicky) of Toccoa, GA. and Julie; his brothers, Jon (Joyce Thompson) and Jim Thompson of Summerville, SC.; his grandchildren, Mark Thompson Jr., Catherine Orlandi, Jeffery Weill, Patrick Riley, Lisa Bonham and Mark Bonham Jr.; and his great grandchildren, Remy Orlandi, Shaina, Josh Rogers, Lucille and Benjamin Riley. He was also cherished by many other relatives and friends.
