It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shirley Peterson Maurer of Blairsville, Georgia, who passed away on October 29, 2022, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Peterson and Helen Osmer Peterson; and her daughter Carol Jean Maier. She is survived by: her daughters, Diana (Skip Belton) and Linda Meridith (Nancy Maurer) of Blairsville; and her grandchildren, Greg Banks, John, Suzie Phillips, Diana Lin Wallace, Jason, Jennifer Maier, Julie Gletty, Jesse Maier, Erika, Brandon Hailes, Nicole Wilbur, Audra, Randy Meeker and Tucker Belton. She is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
