He was predeceased by: his parents, William Edgar and Bertha Dyer (Hood); his daughter Becky Dyer Stowe; and his granddaughter Katie Walker. He is survived by: his wife Dolores Hall Dyer of Blairsville; his parents-in-law, Denise Driskell (Bill) of Blairsville, Debbie Braswell (Randy) of Blairsville, Anita Walker (Ivan) of Blairsville, David Dyer (Norma) of Winder, GA and Roy Stowe of Jefferson, GA; his grandchildren, Nicholas Stowe (Taylor), Laura Driskell, Michael Driskell (Kara), Josh Walker, Andrew Walker, Jackson Dyer and Maggie Dyer; and his great grandchild Ellis Driskell.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Blairsville First Baptist Church Children's Ministries.
