He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Virgil E. Netherton and Helen Netherton; his wife Mary Netherton of Blakely; his daughter Gayle Copenhaver (Bruce); his grandchildren, Amanda Copenhaver of Lexington, Heidi Gonzalez (Tom), Tristan Williams, Julian Gonzalez and Lleyton Gonzalez of Valdosta, GA; his son Jeff Netherton (Linda); his grandchildren, Grace Netherton and Lillith Netherton of Tallahassee, FL; his son Eric Netherton (Gretchen); his grandchildren, Jackson Netherton, William Netherton and Harper Lee Netherton of Greensboro, NC; his sister Willa Jean Hughes of Albuquerque, NM; his cousin Fred Netherton (Mary) of Kansas City; his niece Debbie Carman of Albuquerque; and his sisters-in-law, Dorothy McCray, Fran Meek (Dave) and Marge Kentzinger (Earl).
